Hey! I'm Eman, an aspiring urologist and current final year medical student passionate about providing equitable healthcare, advocacy for women in medicine and surgery, and dealing with sensitive issues within medicine and healthcare.
What exactly am I doing here? I started my website in August of 2021 in order to create an online portfolio, but also as a platform to start conversations about topics that I believe deserve more discussion. I was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Pakistani parents and currently attend medical school here as well. I know my experience as an 'international' medical student (despite spending my entire life in this city) has exposed me to many different opportunities and ideas inside and outside of medicine and has allowed me to solidify my passion in learning about identity, healthcare provision disparities, fitness/sport and their ties to my medical career.
